An industrial end-line flame arrester (also known as an industrial flame arrester or an industrial fire extinguisher) is a fire suppression device used in industrial plants and other facilities to protect against the spread of fire in the event of a chemical or electrical accident. Industrial end-line flame arresters are designed to capture and contain any escaping flammable vapours and gases that may be present in the workplace.
They are typically made of materials resistant to heat, flame, and chemicals, including stainless steel, plastic, and rubber. In addition to being used to protect workers and the environment, industrial end-line flame arresters are also used to protect against the spread of fire. They are typically used in areas where flammable vapours and gases may be present.
